Directions we recommend as follows: -Remove the cling film applied after the session, -Wash the tattoo with Skin Shield Foam Soap, massage gently to get rid of plasma and blood until all debris is gone, -Rinse thoroughly and pat it dry with a clean paper towel, -Gently apply a thin layer of Skin Shield butter until absorbed, -Replace the cling film to prevent scabbing and infection, -Wear loose clothes. Don’t pick at your tattoo or scratch it, -Repeat 3 times a day for 3-4 days, after that, remove the cling film however keep moisturising with Skin Shield 2 to 3 times a day for 2 weeks, -Avoid pool, ocean, hot tub, steam room, sun exposure or sun bed until healed (2 weeks), -Avoid your shampoo & aggressive soap in the shower.

After your Tattooist has applied your design, they will wash off the excess ink with green soap spray and paper towels or a wet wipe. Your artist will apply a liberal amount of Skin shield and Clingfilm the area, securing with tape.
After 3+ hours take off the dressing and wash with foam spray (Old Yakuza secret! After you have cleaned your tattoo wash finally with ice cold water letting the water run indirectly over your new tattoo for 30-45 seconds – this closes the pores and prevents further drainage) Gently pat your tattoo dry, coat with a thin layer of Skin Shield and reapply Clingfilm (Repeat this process 3 times a day for 3 days!)

Do not go swimming or soak in water until your new tattoo is fully healed.
We all take different times to heal but as a rule of thumb it will heal in roughly in 2 weeks.
